Specialist interests: Management of adult and child routine and complex orthodontic cases including orthognathic surgery for jaw disproportion.
Dr Sapna Radia graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute in 2009 with Honours and multiple prizes and distinctions and was ranked in the top 10 dental students in London. She continued her general professional training and postgraduate education in maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and children’s dentistry in London practices and hospitals.
Dr Radia then completed her three-year specialist orthodontic training at King’s College Dental Hospital and St George’s Hospital. She obtained her Membership in Orthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014 as well as a Masters in Orthodontics for which she was awarded a Distinction and the Philip Walther Prize for the highest mark.
She carried out two further years of Consultant training at Guy’s Hospital, London and Queen Victoria Hospital gaining experience in adult orthodontics, patients with jaw deformity, cleft lip and palate and sleep apnoea. She was awarded her Fellowship in Orthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017 and was appointed a Consultant at Queen Victoria Hospital in 2017.
Dr Radia has lectured and presented her research nationally and internationally. She takes a keen interest in teaching trainees and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education, and is involved in lecturing and examining nationally. Dr Radia takes pride in providing an extremely high standard of orthodontic care based on the latest clinical evidence, working with her orthodontic and maxillofacial colleagues to achieve the best for her patients.
