Lynne Adamson
Macmillan Breast Reconstruction Nurse Specialist

Lynne started training in 2012 completing a Foundation degree in health and social care whilst working at a GP practice and consolidating her training in the Community. She then continued on to gain a BSc Hons in Adult nursing in 2016 at Brighton University.
Lynne has worked at QVH since qualifying, initially on Canadian Wing nursing patients receiving elective and trauma plastic and maxillofacial surgery. During her 6 years on the ward she spent considerable time in the Enhanced Recovery Area which mainly involved nursing post-operative breast reconstruction patients. Developing a keen interest, she has mentored several students and new starters in this specialist area. Lynne has completed the Principles of Breast Cancer Care module (at Masters Level 7) at the Royal Marsden School.
Lynne became a micropigmentation practitioner 2019, and joined the Breast Reconstruction Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team in May 2022.
