Miss Charlotte Bendon

Miss Charlotte Bendon is a UK-trained Plastic Surgeon, on the GMC Specialist Reigster for Plastic Surgery.

She studied Medicine at the University of Oxford where she graduated with first class honours in Medical Sciences and completed her basic surgical training in Oxford. In 2015 she was appointed as a specialist registrar in the Oxford deanery, where she undertook her higher surgical training in Plastic Surgery. During this time, she was awarded international scholarships from the University of Melbourne to complete a Masters degree at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourne, Australia. Here she continued her training in microsurgery, and developed experience in super microsurgery for the management of lymphoedema.

In 2021 she was awarded the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, or FRCS(Plast), and secured a BAAPS aesthetic fellowship in London. At the end of her training, she completed two microsurgery fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, and the Queen Victoria Hospital, gaining further expertise in cancer reconstruction, particularly microsurgical breast reconstruction. She was appointed as a locum consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital in 2024.

In her free time, Charlotte enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking, running and skiing.
