Qualifications: BSc (Hons), MB ChB, MRCS (Eng), Cert Med Ed, PhD, FRCS (Plast).

Specialist interests: 

– Microsurgical reconstruction
– Breast reconstruction (DIEP and Implant based)
– Breast and abdomen secondary procedures (Breast asymmetry / breast reduction / breast uplift / mastopexy / fat transfer / nipple reconstruction / liposuction / abdomen contour improvement)
– Skin cancer, perineal reconstruction, chest wall reconstruction.

Mr Christopher Davis is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, where his main practice is autologous breast reconstruction. Graduating in Medicine and a 1st Class degree in Anatomical Science from the University of Bristol, Mr Davis completed plastic surgery training in Bristol and London as the highest ranked trainee at National Selection.

Mr Davis completed a 2-year Microsurgical Fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London, gaining expertise in breast reconstruction, skin cancer, perineal reconstruction, and chest wall reconstruction. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and on the GMC specialist register.

Mr Davis is a Fulbright Scholar and spent 3 years at Stanford University, California, USA and was awarded a PhD for his thesis on optimising microsurgical reconstruction after cancer. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, has over 3,500 procedures in his surgical logbook, and peer-reviews articles as an editorial board member of plastic surgical journals. He enjoys translational research that improves patients’ quality of life after cancer, engaging in international clinical trials, and exploring innovations to make scars as subtle as possible after plastic surgery.
