Pam Golton

Pam Golton started training in 2005 as a registered adult nurse with the University of Surrey and qualified DipHE in 2008.

Having a special interest in surgical nursing she has been at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead since qualification and worked first on Canadian Wing and then the Step Down Unit (now called Enhanced Recovery Area) looking after complex microsurgical patients. She gained her Macmillan Breast Reconstruction Clinical Nurse Specialist post in 2011 and completed her specialist degree (BSc) in Acute Clinical Practice (Cancer Pathway) in 2015 at the University of Brighton. She has also completed the Principles of Breast Cancer Care Module (at Masters level 7) at the Royal Marsden School and regularly attends the London & Brighton Breast Meetings.

In December 2024 she completed her Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Medical Education at the University of Warwick and is passionate about the education of breast reconstruction for both patients and allied health professional.  Pam has previously taught breast reconstruction on the postgraduate degree module on the Burns and Plastics course on at University of Brighton.

She has been a qualified practitioner in micropigmentation since 2009 and has regular clinics.

  • a nurse member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS)
  • a nurse member of the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS)
  • Founder, Trustee and Treasurer for the breast reconstruction charity Restore.
  • Breast Cancer Now ‘Task and Finish group for Breast Reconstruction’.
