We also provide some services from other hospitals in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and information about visiting them can be found through the links on our other locations page.

The patient and visitor car park at QVH operates a pay and display system. Charges apply from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and cost £1.00 per hour for the first 3 hours, and a maximum of £4.00 for up to 10 hours. Change is available from the cashier, situated inside the corridor as you enter from the car park. Parking on-site is limited and can be difficult at busy periods, please allow plenty of time.

Parking is free on weekends and bank holidays, from 6pm to 8am on weekdays and at all times for disabled badge holders, for whom there are several reserved bays, including by the Minor Injuries Unit.

There is no charge for motorcycle parking.

There are also  a small number of short stay bays across the site where parking is free of charge for up to 20 minutes. These can be found near the Main Entrance (Canadian Wing), the X-Ray Department (clock tower entrance) the Minor Injuries Unit and the Jubilee Centre.

Visitors who do not park within an appropriate bay or do not display a valid ticket are liable to be issued with a penalty notice.

Chapel and multi faith room

Just off the car park by our minor injuries unit (to the left of the main out patients entrance) is our onsite chapel and multi faith room. It is open every day for patients, visitors and staff to use, so whether you are of a particular faith or no particular faith, you are welcome to visit. Please can we ask that during the pandemic you observe social distancing if other people are using the area too.

If a patient would like a visit from a chaplain or leader from another faith please speak to a nurse or a chaplain who can arrange this.
