CoG meetings in public

Formal meetings of the QVH Council of Governors (CoG) take place once every three months and an Annual General of the trust is held each summer. Our foundation trust members and members of the general public are very welcome to attend.

Forthcoming meetings

Please email Leonora May, Company Secretary, at leonora.may1@nhs.net ideally a week prior to the meeting to request a place and confirm the exact timings and venue.

The agenda and papers for the meetings will be available here one week before the meeting.

Please contact qvh.corporategovernance@nhs.net if you require these papers to be formatted in a way that is more accessible to you.

Dates of forthcoming meetings are as follows:

• Monday 15 July 2024, 2pm – Education Centre, QVH
• Monday 16 September 2024, 2pm – Education Centre, QVH
• Monday 27 January 2025, 2pm – Meridian Hall, East Court

Annual General Meeting 2024

It is annual general meeting (AGM) time of year again and you are invited to come along to the event held here in the Education Centre at QVH.

The AGM starts at 6pm on Monday 16 September, and if you cannot make it on the evening, you do not need to miss out as you can join via Microsoft Teams.

The AGM is a chance for our members to hear about the development of the Trust’s forward strategy and to hear from our governors about the work of the Council of Governors throughout the year, their role and an upcoming opportunity to become a member of the Council of Governors.

There will also be a review of 2023/24 including our Annual report and accounts and a presentation from the Trust’s external auditor regarding their findings for 2023/24.

If you’d like to come along to our AGM, in person or via MS Teams, please let us know by emailing us at qvh.corporategovernance@nhs.net stating your full name and whether you would like to attend in person or via MS Teams. Please note that in person places are limited and will given on a first come first served basis.

The agenda and papers for the meeting will be available in advance on the website via this link.

There will be opportunities for you to ask questions at the AGM. If you are unable to attend and would like to submit a question related to any of the agenda items, please email it to qvh.corporategovernance@nhs.net before 5pm on 4 September 2024.
