Archie EPR
We are on a digital journey introducing an Electronic Patient Record system here at Queen Victoria
Hospital…
Helping us to be even more patient focused, clinically led and digitally enabled for the future of patient care.
We will launch Archie EPR in November 2025, transforming how we deliver care by having a unified Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, becoming paper-lite in processes and reducing the need for multiple systems being used.
More than 1,200 staff will be able to work collaboratively on one EPR digital system, a core pillar for our operations.
We have named it Archie, and the system will be provided by Altera and powered by Sunrise EPR.
- It will ensure accurate, accessible patient information across the organisation,
- Improving efficiency and freeing up more time for patient care.
We are keen to take every single person at our Trust on this journey by keeping you involved and up-to-date by providing support, training and information on the system.
Help us to deliver our vision at QVH of becoming a centre of excellence, rebuilding lives and supporting our communities toward a healthier future and be a key part of our organisational digital strategy.
The Archie EPR factsheet should help you to understand what is coming.
Join us in delivering Archie.
