Caroline Ward
Stakeholder Governor
Caroline has lived in Haywards Heath for over 20 years, raising her family there. During this time, she has been a governor at two local schools, a leader for various youth groups in the town as well as sitting on the Board for Young Enterprise Crawley, Horsham & Mid Sussex. Since October 2025, she has served on Haywards Heath Town Council sitting on the Planning, and Environment and General Purpose Committees.
Caroline’s main interests lie in community building, whether fighting food poverty, driving sustainability and environmental awareness as Carbon and Water Literacy-trained, or volunteering to support older people. Currently she is a Group Co-ordinator for the charity ‘Re:engage’ and serves as Vice-Chair, Chair of Development and Fundraising, and oversees risk on the Board of FareShare Sussex and Surrey.
In her professional life, Caroline’s career has been in technology marketing where she has won multiple awards for her work. She has Board-level experience and holds an MBA from the University of Sussex.
