Lorraine Loosley
Plastics Outreach Clinical Nurse Specialist

Lorraine Loosley is a clinical nurse specialist in the plastic surgery team at the Queen Victoria Hospital.
Lorraine completed a child care diploma in 2003 before starting her diploma in adult nursing training at Brighton University, going to qualify in 2008 and then continued to study to achieve her BSc.
After qualifying, Lorraine joined the Queen Victoria Hospital in 2008, working predominantly in outpatients in various roles. She has developed the necessary skills and gained experience in nursing patients with complex needs following a variety of surgical reconstruction, traumatic injuries and cancer resection.
She joined the plastics outreach team in 2025, and is looking forward developing this service further with her colleagues and working with patients, families, and clinical teams across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
