Update on building our Community Diagnostic Centre – your chance to find out more

Thanks to a significant investment from NHS England and planning permission, we can confirm that we will be building a Community Diagnostic Centre here at Queen Victoria Hospital, due to open in 2026.

Before the construction starts we want to invite local people and anyone interested in the Community Diagnostic Centre to join us at one of two sessions we are hosting on Tuesday 22 July from 3-4pm or 6-7pm in the Education Centre, Location 40, Main Hospital Building. This is a chance for us to update you on the project and the benefits it will bring to our community, as well as giving you the chance to ask members of our Estates Team and the appointed contractor any questions you have.

Having a dedicated Community Diagnostic Centre building onsite is a milestone for QVH and will enable us to help reduce the amount of time patients wait for a diagnosis and treatment.

Please do join us if you can at one of the above sessions. To help us with logistics for the session, if you are able to attend please email qvh.communications@nhs.net or call 01342 414508 and let us know which session. If you have any accessibility needs please let us know in advance. Do pass on these details to others who may be interested in attending.
