Gate 2 entrance and car park closure – from 6pm on 30 September
Monday 29th September 2025

As we get ready to begin building our new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) we need to make some changes to our site to maintain safety and access for our patients.
From 6pm on Tuesday 30 September, our Gate 2 entrance and car park (accessed via Holtye Road) will be closed. It will reopen when the CDC is built. You will also start to see hoarding going up from Thursday 2 October as the contractors begin their work.
Our team are contacting patients that have appointments in the rehabilitation building in the next couple of weeks to notify them.
For patients visiting our rehabilitation centre who use the disabled parking within Gate 2, these spaces are being moved whilst the build takes place. Disabled parking will be available in our tennis court car park (accessed via the Main Gate and through the staff car park, behind the Minor Injuries Unit) and in our other car parks on site. Signage will be in place to direct you to where you need to go. Access to the Rehabilitation building including the access ramp will remain in place.
We will provide updates as the project progresses, and thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve our services.
