Ross Dunworth
Interim Chief Finance Officer
Ross Dunworth joined the Trust in June 2026 as Interim Chief Finance Officer, alongside his ongoing role as Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.
Ross is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Price Waterhouse (PwC) in Leeds. He began his NHS career in 1992 as a Finance Manager and went on to hold a number of senior finance roles across organisations in Plymouth, Hertfordshire and Hampshire.
In 2007, Ross left the NHS to establish his own interim and consultancy service, working with a wide range of NHS organisations. He joined Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in June 2016 as Finance Director.
In November 2021, Ross was appointed Deputy Chief Executive at Royal Surrey, alongside his Finance Director role.
Ross holds an MA in History and Archaeology from the University of Winchester.
