QVH named as one of the CHKS 40Top Hospitals 2013

QVH is one of the CHKS 40Top Hospitals for 2013. The award is given to the 40 top performing CHKS client trusts. The 40Top award is one of several awards that are part of the CHKS Top Hospitals programme.
As well as national awards for patient safety, quality of care and data quality, CHKS celebrates excellence amongst its clients across the UK. The 40Top award is based on the evaluation of 22 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.
Dr Stephen Fenlon, Medical Director at QVH, said: “We are proud to have been recognised as a 40Top hospital. Our inclusion in the list highlights the breadth and success of our efforts to deliver high-quality care and outcomes that really matter to patients and their carers.”
