Junior doctors’ strikes – 6-8 April
Tuesday 5th April 2016
British Medical Association junior doctor members will be holding a 48-hour strike starting at 8am on Wednesday 6 April until 8am on Friday 8 April.
QVH is carrying out detailed work to minimise any impact on patients. While patient safety and care quality will not be affected, it is likely that some inpatient, day case and outpatient appointments will need to be rearranged. The minor injuries unit will be open as normal.
We are working to identify patients whose appointments will need to be rearranged so that we can notify them in advance. We aim to ensure that no patient appointments are cancelled on the day.
Please assume that your appointment at QVH is unaffected by the strikes unless we contact you to tell you otherwise.
