New home for outpatient trauma clinic

From Monday 4 September the hand trauma clinic previously located within our minor injuries unit is moving to be part of the new outpatient trauma clinic.
You’ll see signage pointing to the new unit, just off the main hospital building, which has been refurbished to provide a modern and spacious area.
The clinic will be open seven days a week from 9.30am to 5pm and will see and treat patients with hand injuries including simple and complex lacerations; hand and upper limb infections and crush injuries. At the weekend our maxillofacial trauma service will also be based in the building.

- nerve, tendon, artery and vein lacerations
- high energy, penetrating wounds.

- Mandible fractures
- mid-face fractures
- facial lacerations
- facial infections
- dental abscesses
Referrals are accepted for patients from Surrey, Sussex and Kent and will come via accident and emergency departments, emergency departments, minor injury units or directly from GPs.
