Queen Victoria Hospital wants your memories!
Friday 2nd February 2018
Did you know that this year the NHS is celebrating its 70th birthday on 5 July? Queen Victoria Hospital wants to recognise the role it has played in the National Health Service during that time and would like your memories of the hospital from the last 70 years.
It’s also an opportunity for the hospital to recognise and thank its staff – the everyday heroes – who guide, support and care for patients, day in, day out.
Have you worked at QVH during the last 70 years?
Has Queen Victoria Hospital cared for you and you’d like to share your story?
Can you share any memories of the hospital since 1948?
Do you have any old photos of our hospital?
The team at Queen Victoria Hospital is especially interested in any memories and photographs of the hospital from 1948, the year the NHS was founded.
Please share your memories and photos by email to qvh.communications@nhs.net or by post to Corporate Affairs, Queen Victoria Hospital, Holtye Road, East Grinstead RH19 3DZ. If you’re sending any original photographs and would like them returned please include your name and contact address. You can also share your memories on its social media channels www.facebook.com/QueenVictoriaHospital or www.twitter.com/QVH using the hashtag #NHS70.
