Rebuilding lives and facing the future – your invite to the QVH AGM 2018

Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) is proud of the pioneering work it does in rebuilding lives and invites you to attend its annual general meeting (AGM) to find out more.
At this year’s event you will have the opportunity to find out more about the hospital’s work in supporting people with facial palsy and facial disfigurement. The QVH multidisciplinary team work tirelessly to help people rebuild their lives and prepare to face the future and some of the team will give you a special insight into just some of what they do.
Charles Nduka, consultant plastic surgeon, will explain more about the work of the hospital’s facial palsy team in ‘making faces’, the art and science of facial expressions. He will be joined by Maja Schaedel and Elizabeth Scott-Gliba, who lead the psychological therapy team, who will talk about disfigurement and making life worth living again.
The AGM is taking place on Monday 30 July from 6.30-8.30pm, at Meridian Hall, East Court, East Grinstead. Free parking is available onsite.
In addition to hearing from Charles, Maja and Elizabeth, you will have the opportunity to find out more about Queen Victoria Hospital’s achievements over the last year and plans for the year ahead.
