Black Lives Matter
Thursday 2nd July 2020
The Board of QVH met today (2 July) and have been reflecting and discussing how we can establish a positive response to the Black Lives Matter movement. We are clear that we do not tolerate racism and hate crime.
We are proud of the rich diversity of our staff and want to reaffirm our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. QVH is a place where we want all staff to feel safe, protected and listened to, and we believe that is essential for us to provide the very best care to our patients.
We will continue to listen to our patients and our staff, and to consider the role that our hospital can play in overcoming prejudice. We recognise that there are always opportunities for improvement and more that can be achieved.
