Roadworks on Holtye Road starting 8 November 2021

** Update 24 November – works have concluded early – Holtye Road now reopen **

From Monday 8 November, SGN is carrying out work to replace the gas main between Beacon Rose and Pumphouse Farm in Holtye Road. This is beyond Queen Victoria Hospital, heading towards Edenbridge/Kent.

For approximately six weeks Holtye Road will be closed between Larches Farmhouse to Pumphouse Farm. Businesses in Holtye Road will be open as usual and access to these will be maintained. A diversion for through traffic will be via Holtye Road, Edenbridge Road, High Street, Newtons Road, Cat Street, Shepherds Hill, Hartfield Road, London Road, Lewes Road, Beeching Way, Station Road, London Road, Moat Road, Cranston Road and Blackwell Road. SGN operatives will be onsite to assist and offer information as to the progress of these works.

We do not know the full impact this will have on getting to and from the hospital so please allow extra time to travel.

Update: the previously advertised work in Sandhawes Hill and Woodland Road has been delayed until March 2022.
