Arrangements during the RCN industrial action
Wednesday 11th January 2023
Our team is contacting some patients with planned appointments or surgery on the days of the planned industrial action by members of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) – Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 January – to make new arrangements.
Appointments including therapy, diagnostics (e.g. x-ray) and virtual clinics will continue as normal. The minor injuries unit at QVH will be open as usual from 8am to 8pm. Some other clinic appointments and very urgent surgery will go ahead.
We are very sorry if your appointment or surgery has to be moved but thank you in advance for helping us to make these changes at short notice.
Please do not call us, our staff can best work through this if we call you. If we do not contact you to advise of a change to your appointment you should attend as planned.
