Arrangements during industrial action – 19-23 September 2023

Our team is contacting some patients with appointments or surgery during the period of the planned industrial action by consultants – 7am Tuesday 19 to 7am Thursday 21 September and planned industrial action by junior doctors – 7am Wednesday 20 to 7am Saturday 23 September.
Urgent and emergency treatment, including time critical surgery, will continue where possible. The minor injuries unit at QVH will be open as usual from 8am to 8pm. Appointments in some specialisms including therapies, radiology and orthodontics will continue as usual.
We are very sorry if your appointment or surgery has to be moved but thank you in advance for helping us to make these changes at short notice.
Please do not call us, our staff can best work through this if we call you. If we do not contact you to advise of a change to your appointment you should attend as planned.
