Arrangements during junior doctor industrial action – 3-9 January 2024

Our team is contacting some patients with planned appointments or surgery during the period of the planned industrial action by junior doctors – 7am Wednesday 3 January to 7am Tuesday 9 January 2024 – to make new arrangements.
Our senior doctors, nurses and other clinical staff will be ensuring that we can continue to provide urgent and emergency treatment, including time critical surgery. The minor injuries unit at QVH will be open as usual from 8am to 8pm.
Appointments in some specialisms including therapies, radiology and orthodontics will continue as usual.
We are very sorry if your appointment or surgery has to be moved but thank you in advance for helping us to make these changes at short notice.
Please do not call us, our staff can best work through this if we call you. If we do not contact you to advise of a change to your appointment you should attend as planned.
