Arrangements during junior doctor industrial action – 27 June-2 July 2024

There is a period of planned industrial action by junior doctors taking place from 7am on Thursday 27 June to 7am on Tuesday 2 July. This means that our team is contacting some patients due to come to QVH during that time if we will need to reschedule their planned appointment or surgery.
Our senior doctors, nurses and other clinical staff will be ensuring that we can continue to provide urgent and emergency treatment, including time critical surgery. The minor injuries unit at QVH will be open as usual from 8am to 8pm. Appointments in some specialisms including therapies, radiology and orthodontics will continue as usual.
We are very sorry if your appointment or surgery has to be moved but thank you in advance for helping us to make these changes at short notice.
Please do not call us, our staff can best work through this if we call you. If we do not contact you to advise of a change to your appointment you should attend as planned.
