Planning permission granted for our Community Diagnostic Centre

Mid Sussex District Council has approved the planning application for us to build a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) on our site.

The single storey building will be located on the front lawn, outside the Jubilee Building, with the entrance coming from Gate 2. The remaining lawn will be enhanced and landscaped to provide a space for patients, visitors and staff to enjoy.

The next step will be to appoint a contractor with the aim of starting building the CDC this July/August. The plan is for the building to be up and running in April 2026.

The project is made possible thanks to a significant investment from NHS England to build a Community Diagnostic Centre on our site.

We are already working with a number of local GP practices to offer a range of diagnostic tests and investigations for their patients but a dedicated facility will allow us to do more.

We appreciate how important QVH is to the local community and the CDC will be an important part of our services for people in and around East Grinstead.

We will share more information about the project over the coming weeks.
