Update on our Community Diagnostic Centre information events

Thank you to everyone who joined one of our information sessions at the end of last month where we updated on our Community Diagnostic Centre project.

Having a dedicated Community Diagnostic Centre building onsite is a milestone for QVH and will enable us to help reduce the amount of time patients wait for a diagnosis and treatment, as well as expanding the number of diagnostic pathways we are able to offer. Thanks to a significant investment from NHS England and been granted planning permission, we are on track to open our building in April/May 2026.

At the sessions we announced Logan Construction have been appointed as the contractor for the project. They joined us to talk about their approach to the project, their background in working with the NHS, and answer questions.

Over the coming weeks you will see some activity on the area where the Community Diagnostic Centre will be built as a number of final surveys will be carried out. This needs to be completed before the hoarding is put up and the work begins.

We will continue to share updates here on our website and also on our social media so do look out for those.

If you have any questions about the project please email qvh.communications@nhs.net and it will be passed on to the appropriate person for a response.
