Update on the local water supply issue – Tuesday 13 January
Tuesday 13th January 2026
A huge thank you to our fantastic staff, volunteers, patients, and local community for your incredible support as we navigate the ongoing water supply challenges in East Grinstead and the surrounding area. Your patience and positivity are appreciated.
We have been able to keep our clinical services running as planned again today, ensuring patient care continues to remain our absolute priority. We would like to thank the small number of our patients we have needed to contact to rearrange their outpatient appointments, we value your understanding.
Our teams continue to do an amazing job behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
While the mains water supply hasn’t returned as yet, we’re supported by tanker deliveries and are hopeful for more positive news tomorrow. We’ll share updates as soon as we have them.
What you need to know:
- Appointments and surgery: Please attend as planned unless we contact you directly.
- Visiting wards: To keep everyone safe, please only visit if essential whilst we are experiencing the water supply issues
- Bring essentials: If you’re visiting, please bring your own drinks and snacks, as our catering facilities are temporarily closed.
- Help us save water: Every drop counts, please use only what you need.
- Have a question? If you have any concerns during your visit, please speak to a member of the team.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We’re getting through this together, and we’re hopeful for positive news very soon! We will add further updates here on our website and on our Facebook page tomorrow (Wednesday 14 January 2025).
