Breast Reconstruction study day for healthcare professionals

Queen Victoria Hospital, the major regional centre for complex microvascular breast reconstruction, is pleased to be hosting a breast reconstruction study for healthcare professionals working with breast cancer treatment patients.
The study day will take place on Tuesday 30 June from 8.30am – 5pm, and will be delivered by our Macmillan Breast Reconstruction Clinical Nurse Specialists, surgeons and clinical psychologist.
The day will cover:
- History of breast reconstruction
- Different types of breast reconstruction and symmetrising surgery
- Gene Carrier & Family History Services
- Patient experience of reconstruction and Restore information events
- Psychological Therapy service
- Breast Reconstruction CNS Service
The study day is available as both an in-person event at the hospital, and virtual (MS Teams) attendance. Tickets are available via Eventbrite using the links below:
