Temporary relocation of our Minor Injuries unit – 10 and 11 September

Due to essential works, our Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) is temporarily moving from its usual location to Building 17 (Rehabilitation) for today (Thursday 10 September) and tomorrow (Friday 11 September).

The MIU will remain open daily from 8am to 8pm, with the last booking time at 7.15pm. Our team will continue to assess, diagnose and treat patients with minor injuries and ailments from the temporary location.

During this period, the MIU will be operating with reduced capacity and patients may experience longer waiting times than usual. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Signage is in place across the hospital site to direct patients to Building 17 (Rehabilitation) – please follow the arrows on arrival.

If you require treatment for a more serious illness or injury, please attend an Urgent Treatment Centre, such as Crawley UTC, or your nearest Emergency Department. Conditions such as chest pain, breathing difficulties, severe injuries or other medical emergencies should not be treated at the MIU.

For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111 online or by calling 111. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.

Thank you for your understanding while these essential works are completed.
