Minor Injuries Unit remains open from temporary location

Essential works taking place in our Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) are taking longer than anticipated, so the service will continue to operate from Building 17 (Rehabilitation) until early next week.

The MIU remains open as normal from 8am to 8pm every day, with the last booking time at 7.15pm. Our team will continue to assess, diagnose and treat patients with minor injuries and ailments from the temporary location.

Signage is in place to help guide patients and visitors to Building 17.

Existing appointments within Rehabilitation are still running as scheduled.

While the MIU remains temporarily relocated, patients may experience longer waiting times than usual. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

We expect the MIU to return to its usual location next week and will share a further update.

If you require treatment for a more serious illness or injury, please attend an Urgent Treatment Centre, such as Crawley UTC, or your nearest Emergency Department. For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111 online or by calling 111. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.
