Adult Inpatient Survey – your views needed
Monday 6th February 2023
Understanding the experience of our patients is extremely important to us. If you have been an inpatient, admitted to Queen Victoria Hospital for a minimum of one night, you may soon be contacted and asked your views on various aspects of your care as part of the national Adult Inpatient Survey.
The survey will be carried out independently by Picker and will help us identify areas where we are doing well and where we have room for improvement. Surveys are being sent out from this month.
Responses are confidential and the results of the survey will be presented in a form that does not allow any individual’s answers to be identified. The results will be published later this year and we will share them here on our website. You can find the results of the previous survey here.
Nicky Reeves, Chief Nurse, said: “It is important that we gather feedback from patients and take their views and priorities into account as we strive to continually improve the quality of care we provide. By taking part in the Adult Inpatient Survey you are helping us to understand where we can make meaningful improvements and also recognise what we are doing well.”
