Jonathan Squire

Public Governor

Jonathan has had a varied career that has enabled him to work in nine countries, from America and the Bahamas to Brunei and Vietnam. This equipped him with a wide exposure to dealing with many different cultures and the ability to take a strategic approach when faced with new and demanding situations.

Three years ago, after a life-changing event, Jonathan felt the urge to give something back to society, and was then offered the chance to become a governor here at QVH. He was delighted to take up the opportunity and feels it is an honour and a privilege to be a small part of our hospital.

Outside of working life, Jonathan is passionate about the Ashdown Forest, having become a Conservator on the Forest’s board and chairing the Forest Management and Engagement Committee. He has a great appreciation for the forest and enjoys daily walks with his three retrievers.
