Dr Shima Sharara
Consultant Orthodontist
Specialist interests: Complex orthodontic treatment, impacted teeth, orthognathic‑orthodontic care, and research‑driven clinical practice.
Dr Shima Sharara completed her specialist training at King’s College London with honors, earning both a Master’s degree in Orthodontics and the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth), followed by the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination (ISFE).
She has wide experience across leading UK hospitals, including Guy’s and St Thomas’, University Sussex Hospitals, and Queen Victoria Hospital, where she currently holds a Consultant post. Dr Sharara also contributes to the profession as an MOrth External Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in teaching and has published widely in orthodontics and digital innovation.
