Dr Julian Giles
Specialist interests: Critical care and burns anaesthesia
Dr Julian Giles qualified from St Thomas’s Hospital Medical School in 1992.
He trained in general medicine at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He worked as a Lecturer at the Jimma Medical College in Ethiopia before returning to the UK to start his anaesthetic training at St Thomas’s Hospital. He was the LMA Anaesthetic Research Fellow at Oxford University between 2002 and 2004.
He was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Queen Victoria Hospital in 2004.
Julian is the research lead for anaesthetics.
