Miss Lydia Ioannidi

Miss Lydia Ioannidi is a Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Queen Victoria Hospital and is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery. She is dual board-certified in Plastic Surgery.

Lydia was awarded the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, FRCS(Plast), and undertook advanced fellowship training in microsurgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital. Her experience includes breast and complex oncological soft-tissue reconstruction, with particular expertise in autologous breast reconstruction, including DIEP flap surgery.

She subsequently completed a dedicated fellowship in Burns and Scar Management at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, developing further expertise in acute and reconstructive burn surgery, scar management and laser treatment.

Alongside her clinical work, Lydia has a strong interest in healthcare management, quality improvement and service development. She is actively involved in research, audit and surgical education, with research interests including outcomes and complications following microsurgical breast reconstruction.
